Clinical Psychologist Development Post

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist, either newly qualified or with post qualification experience. The post will be full time and will be based with the East and North Specialist Learning Disability Team.

The post holder will be professionally supervised by a senior clinical psychologist and will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative, integrated and active group of qualified Psychologists across 4 counties. The service has strong links with the clinical psychology doctoral training program at the University of Hertfordshire and a strong commitment to supporting on-going continuing professional development.

The post holder will provide a psychological service to people living in the community with a learning disability, as well as a range of presenting problems, such as challenging behaviour and autism spectrum conditions.

This is a Band 7/8a development post. The post holder will be able to progress from Band 7 to band 8a once they demonstrate that they meet the competencies specified for Band 8a.
