This is an exciting opportunity to join the Change Management team as a Change Officer, working within Digital Strategy & Business Value.

Salary: Up to £44,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working:2-3days per week on-site

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity

Reporting to the UK Change Manager, you will work directly with the Programme Leads, Programme Managers and Stakeholder communities to support the implementation of Change deliverables.

Your primary focus will be to work with virtual teams to deliver communications and engagement activities. This includes digital content management for the Change Management team, the department and the Programmes we support. You will manage digital content, community updates, translations, videos and much more. You bring new ideas to the team on ways to effectively engage and empower stakeholders with information they can act on.

You will also directly support the UK Change Manager with governance activities related to ways of working, knowledge management and team events.

Learning in role, you will develop to support wider Change Management activities throughout the programme lifecycle. This could include workshop support, training planning or impact assessments as examples.

Working within an international team, there is opportunity to travel; and you should be open to cultural difference and accepting of other ways of working.

The role requires a strong ability to collaborate and communicate openly. You must be able to build rapport and be an active listener - willing to understand others and disseminate needs into actions. You will need to bring a proactive and organised mindset, and be willing to work as part of a collective. This is a great opportunity to step into a new discipline where training will be provided, and opportunities presented.

  • Intranet / News Articles / Directorate Communications / Bulletins / Communities / Roadshows / Videos

  • Coordinating content creation

  • English language proof reading

  • Graphics and branding coordination

  • Organising content translations

  • Requesting approvals

  • Loading and publishing content

  • Communication distribution list administration

Governance

  • Supporting the evolution of the Change Management Playbook and associated tools and templates

  • Supporting UK team knowledge management (SharePoint)

  • Supporting UK team events and administration

Change Management

  • Supporting employee engagement through forums, workshops and meetings

  • Supporting a Change networks to build support from engagement to adoption

  • Supporting adoption by organising training, working with Programme and Change leads to define, solution and deliver training (in coordination with the L&C)

  • Monitoring change management actions and measuring their effectiveness using appropriate indicators

  • Supporting KPI definition and monitoring

  • Supporting business handover and sustainment activities
