Outwoods Primary School Holiday Camp Manager

Role Summary

JC Academy provides high-quality holiday camps and wraparound care for children aged 5-12. We are looking for passionate and reliable Holiday Club Managers and Supervisors to join our team at Outwoods Primary School, Burton-Upon-Trent.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to create a fun, safe and engaging environment where children can build confidence, make friends and enjoy their time at camp.

Success in this role means creating positive experiences for children, supporting a strong team environment and ensuring every child feels included, valued and cared for.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of engaging holiday camp activities for children aged 5-12
• Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children can thrive
• Support children’s individual needs, including those requiring additional support or behaviour management strategies
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, confidence and teamwork
• Support the day-to-day running of the holiday camp
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with the wider JC Academy team to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) preferred for management roles
• Experience working with children in a childcare, education or activity setting
• Experience supporting children with SEN and/or behaviour management would be highly beneficial
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Friendly, approachable and reliable attitude
• Passion for helping children learn, grow and enjoy their time in our care
