About The Role

We have an opportunity at our Retirement Village for a role as Supervisor / Administrator. The purpose of this role is to provide support to the General Manager. To lead the team to ensure the highest standard of service is provided to each Resident in a warm, caring atmosphere and to provide an on-call emergency service to Residents in Nazareth Retirement Village. To ensure that Nazareth Care Mission Alive core values are incorporated into all aspects of service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Compiling staff rotas, dealing with leave requests and arranging cover when necessary
    • Planning workloads, allocating tasks and monitoring progress against targets
    • Briefing teams on new initiatives, changes to targets and company news
    • Assisting with recruiting, training and helping staff reach their professional development

    • Devising work schedules and implementing deadlines
    • Ensuring that quality standards are upheld
    • Conducting performance reviews and inductions
    • Collate staff hours and documents for submission to the Payroll Department
    • Till & card machine reconciliation
    • Processing supplier invoices
    • Processing sales invoices
    • Taking payments
    • Assisting with ordering of stock
    • Organising, advertising and participating in events and functions
    • Complaint handling
    • Working alongside service staff as and when required.
    • To supervise all staff in Managers absence.
  • General Duties
    • To be flexible about working hours.
    • To be approachable and supportive to staff and managers.
    • To attend staff meetings when appropriate and to be available for one-to-one sessions as
  • agreed.
    • To attend appropriate training and development sessions as agreed with the General
  • Manager.
  • To maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • To carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the General Manager.
  • To be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down by the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • To uphold and promote equal opportunities in employment practice and service delivery.

About You

We are looking for someone who is professional, caring, and enthusiastic. You will be well-organised, have strong IT skills, good attention to deal, excellent verbal and written communication skills and good telephone manner. The ideal person will have a flexible approach with the ability to prioritise tasks and work as a team player and individually.
