Balfour Beatty is seeking a dynamic
Governance and Assurance Planner to contribute to our Net Zero Teesside (NZT) project based at our site in Redcar and Cleveland.
Role Purpose: The NZT Project Assurance and Governance Planner will play a pivotal
role in supporting programme assurance and governance activities. This position will
be responsible for ensuring all programme information is robust, compliant,
auditable, and aligned with both contractual and reporting requirements.
What you'll be doing
- Provide programme assurance and governance support across all project activities.
- Review programme submissions to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and reporting standards.
- Conduct programme activity reviews, including assessments of logic, critical path, progress, and changes to maintain accuracy and integrity.
- Monitor adherence to established procedures, standards, and governance requirements throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Support the preparation and submission of Cl32 documentation, ensuring all materials meet compliance and audit standards.
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in project assurance, governance, or programme planning within a large-scale project environment.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address compliance issues.
- Thorough understanding of programme governance frameworks and contractual requirements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a professional approach to stakeholder engagement.
