Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Rotational Shifts (06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00)
Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment (Full-Time)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Managing a team of up to 45 staff (Warehouse colleagues, First Line Managers and Performance coaches)
- Manage operational performance on shift to achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) on productivity, quality and cost (P&L)
- Ensure workload planning and resourcing routines are accomplished to the required standard
- Complete all team performance reviews and 1-2-1's for direct reports, accurately and within timeframe
- Ensure that SOP's, SSOW and company policies and processes are being adhered to at all times
- Control absence levels on shift by robust and consistent application of absence management process
- Develop strong management capability through effective performance management, coaching, mentoring and development of teams and individuals
- Building and maintaining effective working relationships with management, colleagues and stakeholders
- To take full operational responsibility for the warehouse and transport operations on a shift basis
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous warehouse management experience at Shift Manager/Supervisor level is essential
- Experience of working within a Warehousing operation is essential
- Transport operation knowledge/experience would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and written
- Automation experience would be desirable
- Understanding of finances/budget (P&L)
- Demonstrable record of delivering against targets for own area of responsibility
- Analytical skills - Running reports, sharing data
