Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare. Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.

This role will support the Assistant Programme Director and Senior Project Manager and the wider Kent and Medway Care Record (KMCR) team on the delivery of the programme.

The post-holder will support the delivery of the KMCR programme through a range of project management activities. This will include working KMCR partner organisations and stakeholders to deliver the requirements of the programme plan, actively supporting the delivery of projects and programme activities

You'll facilitate the delivery of project outcomes by being responsible for the co-ordination and implementation of project processes, ensuring these are managed in accordance with targets and agreed timescales. Including communicating business sensitive information in a professional and compassionate manner; especially when there may be barriers to understanding or requires gaining the co-operation of others through tact, negotiation, or persuasive skills. Responsibilities include acting as a first point of contact for complex project enquires; assessing, resolving, or escalating issues; building relationships with colleagues within the organisation, wider system partners and external organisations and planning, evaluating, and recommending the appropriate use of resources within the project.

You'll ensure the project operates effectively by being responsible for administrative tasks, such as developing project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, management of project activities and workstreams, developing and maintaining the project library and reporting systems, organising meetings, taking confidential formal minutes, recording clear actions and initiating implementation, co-ordinating and allocating tasks, measuring and analysing project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques, implementing changes to processes where necessary and completion of standard forms, surveys and audits.

Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is due to integrate with Medway Community Healthcare on 1 October 2026. Following integration and to align our community services to the new Neighbourhood Model of care delivery, there will be a period of consultation which may result in changes affecting some services, teams or roles.
