Are you a proactive Operations Manager ready to lead a premium retail destination? We’re looking for a driven professional to take ownership of day-to-day operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and exceptional environment for visitors, retailers, and partners.

About the Role

You’ll lead all aspects of operations and facilities management, from health & safety compliance to supplier performance—playing a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience across the Centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operation of the Centre, ensuring safety, security, and presentation excellence
  • Oversee facilities services including maintenance, security, cleaning, waste, landscaping & guest services
  • Manage Health, Safety & Environmental compliance in line with UK regulations
  • Monitor and improve service delivery through supplier and contract management
  • Own the Emergency Plan and respond to incidents when required
  • Support retailer relationships and deputise for the Centre Manager
  • Manage contractor processes including permits, RAMS, and compliance
  • Contribute to projects, development works, and ESG initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills

  • Proven background in operations, retail, or shopping centre management
  • Strong leadership experience in a customer-facing environment
  • Knowledge of health & safety legislation and compliance
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers, and performance metrics
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • A-level (or equivalent) essential
  • Management qualification or relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desirable

  • IOSH or Health & Safety qualification
  • Experience in an outlet or retail environment
  • Sustainability / ESG knowledge
  • Experience delivering operational improvement projects
