Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with CMM Programming experience gained within the space, aerospace, or another high-precision engineering environment? Do you have a strong understanding of dimensional inspection, quality assurance processes, and AS9100 standards?

Our client, a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered components, is seeking a CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, Outside IR35.

CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector

Job Description

  • Program, operate and maintain CMM equipment to inspect components and assemblies against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Perform dimensional, visual and final inspections
  • Maintain accurate, traceable inspection records and quality documentation
  • Support AS9100, ISO 9001, Health & Safety and Environmental standards while collaborating with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve quality issue.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience using PC-DMIS software
  • Proven experience programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, geometric tolerances and technical specifications
