Advanced Clinical Practitioner Breast Cancer

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to become part of our Breast Oncology Team. The trust acknowledges the crucial role of advanced practice in our services, and we provide robust support for training and education to our well-established team.
Candidates must have completed an MSc in Advanced Practice and hold a Non-Medical Prescribing certification. The successful applicant will report directly to a Breast consultant.
* Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as ‘Priority’ and 'At Risk' status including NHS At Risk staff throughout Devon who are able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.*
- The post holder will practice autonomously at an advanced level of practice to provide high quality patient-centred care. This will encompass the skills of advanced assessment, examination, diagnosis and management in line with the Trust advanced practice policy.
- Utilise the four pillars of advanced practice to support delivery of the Trust objectives in keeping with the Trust values and organisational policy.
- To work within the Breast Oncology team, specifically working with the Breast Oncology Consultants and MDT team, to work within independent oncology clinics, prescribing SACT and reviewing and assessing breast patients and their suitability for treatment. This post could also be expected to review unwell Breast patients both in the SDEC and inpatient setting.
