Senior Accountant | Preston | £35,000 - £48,000

We are working exclusively with a well established independent accountancy practice in Preston who are looking to recruit an experienced accountant due to continued growth at the firm.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, works well with clients, and is looking to develop their career within a supportive and ambitious environment.

The Role

You will be working closely with the wider team and client managers across a varied portfolio of clients. Day to day responsibilities include:

• Review of draft year end accounts including corporation tax computations

• Preparation and review of management accounts

• Corresponding with clients and holding client meetings

• Monitoring client performance through review of Xero bookkeeping records

• Review of juniors' work and assisting in their development

• Working collaboratively to improve client service

About You

• Chartered Accountant or qualified by experience with a background in accountancy practice

• Ambitious and keen to progress your career and professional standing

• Strong communicator with good attention to detail

• A team player who thrives in a busy, client focused environment

What's on Offer

• Salary of £35,000 - £48,000 depending on qualifications and experience

• Bonus potential of up to 10% of basic salary
