We are looking to appoint an exceptional and dynamic leader to join our senior management team and play a pivotal role in managing fitness to practise hearings and meetings.

The role

As a Professional Regulation Manager (Adjudications) you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of fitness to practise hearings and meetings, ensuring each one runs in accordance with GPhC policy and procedures and legislation. Reporting to the Head of Professional Regulation (Hearings and Resolution), you will lead a multi-disciplinary team and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve our strategic and corporate aims. With your strong leadership skills and commitment to excellence, you will contribute to and lead on improvements across the Enforcement portfolio.

The successful applicant will

  • Line-manage a team across the Adjudications service, ensuring performance targets and standards are achieved.
  • Proven ability and knowledge to manage, support and lead a team and motivate employees.
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritise workloads under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Design, develop, implement, and monitor processes and standards to support team operations.
  • Have knowledge of Fitness to Practise and will possess an engaging communication style.
  • Have experience of managing performance and/or quality assurance.
