Production Operative

Meadow Foods are looking for a motivated and dynamic Production Operative to join a highly focused site team with the aim to produce quality food produce every day.

Working Hours

This role operates on a 4-on/4-off shift pattern which are 12-hour shifts.

Shifts starting from 6am to 6pm and then from 6pm to 6am

Key Duties

• Meet production / packing targets in full
• Operate process / packing machinery to directions in the production plan/ SOP
• Training colleagues in areas as requested
• Follow production plans
• Follow working instructions as per internal specifications.
• To fill in all the relevant paperwork correctly and in full, creating accurate records of all activity during shift
• Ensure that Health, Safety and hygiene standards are met
• Report any problems with process or machinery to the Team Leader
• To produce a quality product to the required standards
• Work using safe working & good housekeeping practices

• Must have a good eye for detail & coordination
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to multitask
• Experience of working in a food or manufacturing environment
• Good standard of spoken and written English
• Good numeracy skills
• Flexible working attitude
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• High hygiene standards

A key requirement of this role is the ability to travel to our Chester site for the scheduled start times mentioned above.
