About The Role

This role falls in to the category of requiring a DBS check (standard)* About the role: The Blackheath Laboratory provide high level healthcare to the local CHG Blackheath Hospital, plus four remote spoke hospitals. The opportunity has arisen for an experienced HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist wishing to work in the laboratory at Blackheath. This is a multi-disciplinary role that includes Biochemistry, Haematology and Blood Transfusion. This part time role covers shifts in based in majority over the Weekend with some shifts during the week. Shift patterns to be discussed and agreed with successful candidate Working as part of a small team, this is an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills, knowledge and experience within this multidisciplinary laboratory. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a proven compliance in a multiskilled job role.. You will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the provision of a safe and reliable service to onsite laboratory and the multiple hospital services. Duties comprise the routine operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various analysers including Roche, Sysmex and Griffols instruments.
