Position: Driver & Branch Assistant

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Hours: 40 /week MON-FRI 07:30-16:00 ROTA NO WEEKENDS!

Location: Williams, Unit 4, Chancergate Business Park, Harlow, CM20 2TG

A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role

Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we're looking for a Driver & Branch Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Harlow!

This is a varied and active role which includes: predominantly making deliveries in the local area (60%), and occasionally serving customers on the trade counter and over the phone (20%), and assisting with warehouse duties (20%)!

If you also have previous exposure of working within a plumbing and heating merchants , builders' merchants or wholesaler, trade counter, DIY, Hardware, or on the tools in the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you!

As our Driver & Branch Assistant, you'll be:

• Predominantly carrying out deliveries in the local area to our customers.

• Warehouse maintenance, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.

• Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.

• Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.

• Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.

• Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.

• Processing quotes.
