Marine Operations Assistant

Commercial Boat Services is a provider of marine services including safety boats, workboats, mud rescue, marine salvage and transportation, based in Chester but operating nationwide.

We are seeking a Marine Operations Assistant to join our team. Tasks would include assistant with marine salvage operations, general vessel and equipment maintenance, assisting with loading and mobilising equipment, and working on safety boats to support construction projects.

No previous marine experience is needed, as you'll have the opportunity to gain boat handling and marine safety training. We're looking for someone reliable, keen to learn new skills, and committed to maintaining high standards.

A full UK driving licence is preferred. You will need to be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Full-time hours including overnight stays during the week and occasional weekend working.

You would need to be able to travel to our boatyard near Chester city centre.

Salary would depend on experience and qualifications.
