Quality Inspector

g2's exclusive client is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to support a major bolted tank project on a long-term 12 month contract with a leading organisation.

Location: Middlesbrough (4 days per week on site)

Contract: 12 months

Start: ASAP

OUTSIDE IR35

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify all materials and equipment delivered to site.
• Ensure documentation and quality records are complete and compliant.
• Upload inspection data and reports onto the project quality system.
• Identify and report quality issues and non-conformances.
• Support commissioning and project handover activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector / QAQC Inspector.
• Experience inspecting incoming goods and materials on site.
• Comfortable managing quality documentation and using electronic quality systems.
• Exposure to commissioning activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within regulated project environments.

Desirable NOT Essential

• Bolted tank experience.
• Background in Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Offshore, Energy or Heavy Engineering sectors.
• Experience working on large-scale EPC or construction projects.
