Company Overview

Leak Detective is a specialist in water leak detection, providing efficient, non-intrusive solutions for domestic and commercial customers across the UK. What began in Scotland has, over the last couple of years, grown into a nationwide franchise network and that growth shows no sign of slowing. As the network has expanded, so has the work behind the scenes that keeps it running. We are looking for a capable, highly organised Administrator to sit at the centre of our operations and keep everything moving.

About the Role

This is a varied role at the centre of our operations. You will be a central point of contact for our franchise network and a genuine right hand to management, helping to keep the day-to-day running of the business on track. We are looking for someone who can prioritise well, use their initiative and take pride in being the person who holds it all together. If that sounds like you, you will fit in well here.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling and job bookings across the franchise network, keeping diaries and jobs running smoothly.
  • Manage customer enquiries by phone and email, from first contact through to resolution.
  • Create, update and maintain accurate records in our CRM system.
  • Handle invoicing and day-to-day finance administration.
  • Support internal audits, helping to gather, check and organise the necessary information.
  • Provide broad administrative support to management in the running of the franchise.
  • Liaise with franchisees to support sales, scheduling and administration.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Customer service experience and an excellent telephone manner.
  • Strong IT skills and confidence in picking up new systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Knowledge of, or experience in, the plumbing or property sectors - this would be a real advantage given the nature of our work.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Exposure to invoicing, bookkeeping or finance administration.
  • Knowledge or experience of franchising.
  • An interest in AI and how it can support day-to-day work.
