Independent Living Hub Facilitator (Temporary)
Stroud District Council is looking for a proactive and compassionate Independent Living Hub Facilitator to join our team on a temporary basis.
About the Role: You will support residents to maintain independence by delivering activities, providing guidance, and creating a welcoming, inclusive hub environment. You’ll also work with partners to connect people to services and opportunities within the local community.
This role covers 7 hubs across the Stroud District. Based at Ebley Mill, with regular travel to the independent living hubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging activities and sessions
- Provide information, advice, and signposting
- Encourage resident involvement and independence
- Build positive relationships with residents and partners
- Support the day-to-day running of the hubs
About You
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience in a community or customer-facing role (desirable)
- A flexible, positive, and person-centred approach
