Buyer Relations Manager, Private Luxury Events

Borough, South London (SE1 1EP) – Hybrid

The Role

As Buyer Relations Manager, you'll play a key role in growing and engaging the buyer community across our Private Luxury Events portfolio, including TFest, Ultra, Amour and Private Luxury.

You'll proactively identify, approach and recruit high-quality luxury travel buyers, building relationships with senior industry professionals and encouraging their participation in our events. From initial outreach and qualification through to onboarding and post-event engagement, you'll help deliver a seamless buyer journey and ensure our events attract the right people.

This is a relationship-driven role that combines proactive outreach, organisation and commercial awareness. You'll need to be confident initiating conversations, building credibility with senior contacts and maintaining engagement across multiple events and deadlines.

You'll join a growing, international business where priorities and opportunities can evolve. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, adapts quickly and enjoys finding new ways to engage people, build relationships and contribute to the success of our events.

Responsibilities

Buyer Recruitment and Engagement

  • Proactively research, identify and approach prospective luxury travel buyers who align with the objectives and audience of our events.
  • Support buyer recruitment campaigns across TFest, Ultra, Amour and Private Luxury, converting prospects into confirmed attendees.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective buyers, maintaining regular contact and following up effectively to maximise recruitment and engagement.
  • Engage buyers through calls, emails, networking and other relevant channels, communicating the value of attending our events.
  • Qualify prospective buyers to ensure they meet the relevant event criteria and contribute to a high-quality buyer community.

Buyer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective buyers, delivering a professional and personalised experience throughout the event cycle.
  • Manage buyer onboarding, registration communications and pre-event engagement, ensuring buyers are informed, prepared and supported.
  • Maintain relationships following events, gathering feedback and encouraging ongoing engagement with our portfolio.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen buyer loyalty, improve engagement and support repeat attendance.

Event Coordination and Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to coordinate recruitment campaigns, manage buyer communications and deliver a consistent experience across events.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different event cycles, adapting your approach as requirements evolve.
  • Maintain accurate buyer information, recruitment activity and relationship records in the relevant CRM systems.
  • Track progress against agreed recruitment objectives and provide regular updates on activity, pipeline and buyer engagement.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to improve buyer recruitment, communication and retention processes.

Requirements

You'll thrive in this Buyer Relations Manager role if you're proactive, organised and confident building relationships with people across the luxury travel and hospitality industries.

  • Experience in buyer relations, client relations, sales, business development, customer engagement or a similar relationship-focused role.
  • Confidence proactively approaching new contacts, building rapport and maintaining engagement through regular follow-up.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with senior industry stakeholders across calls, emails, meetings and events.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple relationships, recruitment campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach, with the confidence to take ownership, respond to changing priorities and work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate records, tracking activity and following structured processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to use data and activity tracking to manage relationships effectively.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience within luxury travel, hospitality, tourism, events or other high-end client-facing environments.
  • Experience recruiting attendees, members, clients or participants for events, hosted-buyer programmes, industry communities or similar initiatives.
  • Experience using Salesforce, Airtable or similar CRM and relationship management tools.
  • Spanish, French or Arabic language skills, particularly where relevant to our international buyer communities.

We're interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, a proactive approach to engagement and the ability to deliver an excellent experience, whether their background is in luxury travel, hospitality, events or a related sector.
