We’re hiring: Control Systems Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced professional to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of complex control and automation projects in the nuclear sector.

Location: Warrington or Cumbria (hybrid working – typically 2–3 days per week in the office)

Contract: Inside IR35

You’ll take full ownership of scope, schedule, and budget — delivering robust, safety‑critical technical solutions in a highly regulated environment.

What you’ll do

• Lead control and automation projects from initiation through to completion
• Manage engineering, quality, supply chain and commercial interfaces
• Control cost, schedule, and risk while maintaining delivery excellence
• Provide visible project leadership and clear stakeholder management
• Champion safety, quality, and governance at every stage

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering complex engineering or control systems projects
• Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles and risk management
• Skilled in MS Project or Primavera P6
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management
• Project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMI) or equivalent
