Salesforce Support and Business Analyst
Phi Partners
About Phi Partners
Phi Partners has been a trusted capital markets consultancy for more than 20 years, providing quantitative and technology expertise across front office, pricing and risk. We support more than 80 financial institutions across the buy-side and sell-side through niche capabilities spanning quant, engineering, vendor platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Headquartered in London, with hubs in New York, Dubai and Singapore and a growing presence in Poland, Phi runs its operations and support functions from Brewery House, Hatfield.
About the Role
This is an internal role within Phi Partners, supporting Phi’s own teams rather than working on client engagements. You will be the resident owner of Phi’s Salesforce platform and the resident business analyst for the people who use it. The role is permanent and full time, based at Brewery House, Hatfield, in the office five days a week (07:30 to 17:30), supporting users in person and remotely across the London and overseas hubs.
Salesforce is Phi’s system of record for two linked parts of the business. The CRM module holds accounts, contacts, opportunities, pipeline, forecast and deal approvals, and is used daily by senior salespeople and account managers. The recruitment module holds candidates, requisitions, submissions and placements, and is used by recruiters and researchers who source consultants against client demand. Phi’s monthly performance reviews, leadership forecasting and board reporting are all produced from this data.
Phi is moving to a full agentic AI delivery model through UniPhi, our agentic AI architecture framework. Salesforce remains the system of record, but many requirements that would once have been met by a new field, flow or report will now be met by an AI agent working on Salesforce data. This role sits at the junction of the two platforms: keeping Salesforce fixed, configured and reported, understanding what users are trying to achieve, and routing each requirement to the right solution.
Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce administrator with strong business analysis skills and a genuine interest in agentic AI. You will be:
• Acting as the single point of contact for all Salesforce users, resolving issues within one working day and escalating to Salesforce support or specialist partners where required.
• Diagnosing and repairing failing flows, validation rules, automations, permissions, integrations and data loads across both the CRM and recruitment modules.
• Maintaining page layouts, Lightning record pages, list views, dynamic forms and quick actions so that each user group sees what it needs and nothing else.
• Managing users, licences, profiles, roles, permission sets and periodic access reviews, including onboarding new starters and removing leavers.
• Running release management: reviewing Salesforce seasonal releases, testing in sandbox, applying change control and documenting every configuration change.
• Working directly with salespeople, account managers, recruiters and researchers to understand what they are trying to achieve, and writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Deciding, with the platform team, whether each requirement is best delivered as Salesforce configuration or as an agent within UniPhi, and making the case for that choice.
• Owning and prioritising the backlog of user requests with sales and recruitment leadership, and mapping sales and recruitment processes end to end to identify where manual effort can be removed.
• Acting as product owner for Salesforce-facing agents built in UniPhi: writing user stories, testing agents against real cases and signing off before release.
• Building and maintaining the reports and dashboards leadership runs the business from, including pipeline, forecast versus budget, requisition fill rates and time to place, and producing monthly extracts reconciled to finance.
• Owning data quality and the Salesforce data model across both modules, and maintaining integrations with email and calendar, finance systems and UniPhi.
• Keeping current with agentic AI frameworks and models, prototyping agent use cases with the platform team and training users on new agent-driven workflows.
Key Skills
• Three or more years administering Salesforce Sales Cloud in a live business, covering user management, the security model, Flow, validation rules, Lightning page configuration, reports and dashboards
• Salesforce Certified Administrator; Platform App Builder or Advanced Administrator strongly preferred
• Sound knowledge of the Salesforce data model and of working with it directly through SOQL, Data Loader, data imports and migrations, and deduplication
• Demonstrable business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog management
• Strong numeracy and data literacy, advanced Excel, and the ability to reconcile CRM figures against finance and forecast data
- Working knowledge of agentic AI, including how LLM agents are built, how tools and APIs are called and where agents succeed and fail, with familiarity with the Anthropic and OpenAI platforms
- Confident communication with senior, demanding users, with the ability to run a workshop, write a clear specification and explain a technical choice in plain terms
• A background in a sales-led organisation, ideally a consultancy, recruitment company or professional services firm
• Desirable: Experience of a Salesforce recruitment package (such as Bullhorn for Salesforce, TargetRecruit or Jobscience), hands-on AI agent development (Anthropic Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph or similar), Salesforce integration tooling (REST APIs, Platform Events, MuleSoft), Agentforce or Einstein, basic Python or Apex scripting and deal approval or commission workflows
Next steps
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a platform at the heart of Phi’s sales and recruitment businesses, and to play a central part in Phi’s move to agentic AI. We offer a salary dependent on experience, a discretionary annual bonus, pension, private medical insurance, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and a dedicated budget for Salesforce certification and AI training. If you are interested, please send your up-to-date CV via email to Sign in to view email, together with a short note describing one Salesforce problem you fixed and one requirement you would now deliver with an AI agent rather than configuration, and why. The process includes a screening call, a practical exercise and a final interview with the hiring manager and a senior sales user.
