Registered Manager - Adult Supported Living & Residential Services
Compass Associates
Title: Registered Manager - Adult Supported Living & Residential Services
Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Are you an experienced Registered Manager with a background in Supported Living?
Would you like to lead a settled, stable service within a warm, values-led organisation that truly backs its managers?
Overview
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading, values-led provider of adult social care, supporting them in the appointment of a Registered Manager to lead their established services in Barnsley.
Our client is a people-first organisation where values are lived from the very top of the business all the way down. Many of their directors, right up to board level, started their careers as support workers, so leadership truly understands life on the front line and backs their teams. You’ll be joining a supportive, engaged regional leadership team that is known for being warm, compassionate and committed to helping its managers succeed.
This is a well-run, settled service with a full and long-standing staff team, a strong bank team and Scheme Managers already in place to support you. Our client invests heavily in its people, offering funded qualifications, their own training qualification centre, clear career pathways, an Employee Assistance Programme, trained mental health first aiders, a pension scheme, life cover, long service awards and recognition schemes for those who go above and beyond.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the leadership, management and performance of a group of services in Barnsley, made up of residential & supported living homes. The service supports around 14 people and delivers circa 2000 commissioned care hours.
Supported Living is the main focus of the service, so your experience here will be key. The services are all located close together, so you won’t be travelling across a wide region. The main challenge of the role is leading a variety of service types, including a domiciliary care package supporting behaviours that challenge, but you’ll have strong support in place from day one.
You’ll report into a Divisional Director and work closely with your Scheme Managers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that promotes choice, independence and positive outcomes.
