Agricultural Property Associate / Senior Associate | Oxford | 1–6 PQE

Lex Exec is supporting a leading national law firm with Associate and Senior Associate appointments in its growing Oxford practice.

These are team growth opportunities arising from substantial client demand within a team ranked in the top tier of Chambers and The Legal 500.

You will advise landed estates, Oxford colleges, farmers, landowners and high-value private clients on work including:

Farm, agricultural land and estate acquisitions and disposals

Agricultural tenancies and complex rural title matters

Farm and estate refinancing

Landowner-side option, promotion and development agreements

Collaboration arrangements and long-term estate development plans

The practice combines significant rural transactions with long-standing client relationships, supported by specialists across tax, trusts, planning, environmental law and agricultural litigation.

Opportunities at different stages of your career

Associates: Ideally around 1–4 PQE, supporting experienced Managing Associates on a busy agricultural property caseload. Relevant NQs are also welcome, you will need to be able to demonstrate solid foundations in agricultural and rural property law.

Senior Associates: Approximately 3–6 PQE, working closely with the team head, taking responsibility for substantial matters and developing client relationships.

There is flexibility on experience for the right people.
