Money Minder Financial Services (UK) Ltd | Sleaford, Lincolnshire / Remote UK

Office-based, hybrid or remote working considered

About Money Minder

Money Minder is an independently owned, Chartered Financial Planning firm based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. We have built our reputation on providing thoughtful, technically sound financial planning advice and developing long-standing relationships with clients, many of whom are approaching or enjoying retirement.

We are looking for an experienced paraplanner to join our established team as we continue to develop our business and expand our financial planning capacity.

This is an opportunity to work with a client-focused firm where quality, integrity, professionalism and personal service genuinely matter.

The Opportunity

We are flexible about how the right person works with us.

Ideally, we would welcome an experienced paraplanner into our Sleaford office, but we recognise that excellent paraplanners are not always available locally.

We are equally interested in hearing from accomplished professionals who would prefer a hybrid or fully remote arrangement.

A regular employed arrangement is our starting point, although we are open to discussing a suitable dedicated contractual or day-rate arrangement with an established independent paraplanner.

You would work closely with our experienced Paraplanning Coordinator and financial advisers, becoming familiar with our existing procedures, systems and approach to delivering advice.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality suitability reports and supporting documentation covering pensions, investments, retirement planning and related financial planning recommendations.
  • Analyse client circumstances, objectives, risk profiles and financial information.
  • Research financial products, investment solutions and planning alternatives.
  • Prepare illustrations, charges comparisons and supporting analysis.
  • Assist with pension switches, investment recommendations, annuities, withdrawals and fund reviews.
  • Identify gaps or inconsistencies in case information and raise relevant technical queries.
  • Work within our established report templates, quality assurance procedures and compliance standards.
  • Use research tools, including FE Analytics, and our AI-assisted processes where appropriate.
  • Collaborate effectively with advisers, administration colleagues and our Paraplanning Coordinator.

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates who offer:

  • At least three years' relevant UK paraplanning experience, preferably more.
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, DipPFS or equivalent, or substantial progress towards an appropriate qualification.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
  • Proven experience preparing comprehensive suitability reports.
  • Excellent analytical ability, written communication and attention to detail.
  • A dependable, organised and conscientious approach to work.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small professional team.
  • A willingness to learn our systems, adopt established procedures and work constructively with AI-assisted tools.

Experience with FE Analytics, Aberdeen Wrap or Quilter would be beneficial, but is not essential.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working arrangements to suit the right candidate.
  • The opportunity to work with an established, independent Chartered Financial Planning firm.
  • A supportive, experienced team and structured introduction to our working practices.
  • Interesting and varied financial planning cases.
  • Modern technology and AI-assisted workflows designed to support professional quality and efficiency.
  • Competitive remuneration appropriate to experience and the agreed working arrangement.
  • Potential for additional working days as the business develops.
  • Appropriate employee benefits for salaried appointments.

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in producing excellent work and would welcome becoming a valued, dependable part of our team.
