Contracts Manager

Main Objectives

Monitoring site entry and assisting various vehicle types with safe manoeuvring around site

Complete a variety of practical tasks within set timescale including but not limited to: site housekeeping, health & safety, organisation and storage of delivered materials, mixing mortar, cleaning windows

Key Responsibilities

Provide directions to delivery vehicles to access site safely and efficiently, using appropriate training, positioning and signalling

Adapt to tasks and deadlines as set out by the management team

Take accountability for health and safety awareness at all times including monitoring of walkways, barriers, hazards and near misses

Check off deliveries against delivery tickets and store materials safely, logging any discrepancies with site management

Load up properties with materials for trades

Communicate effectively with site management around day to day works

Comply with company policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications & Training - Essential

• CSCS Operatives card
• Banksman/Traffic Marshal

Qualifications & Training - Desirable

• Face fit
• Asbestos awareness
• Fire Awareness

Experience

• Previous experience within banksman role
• Familiar with working in a construction environment
