Podiatrist

Podiatry is coming to Essex Coast Physio. Be the founding podiatrist who builds it, shapes it and leads it.

We're a friendly, growing MSK clinic in Great Wakering, Southend-on-Sea, launching a new podiatry service. Patient demand is already there, and you'll work alongside an experienced physiotherapy team. We're looking for an experienced podiatrist who would rather build a service than step into an established one.

What you'll do

• Assess, diagnose and treat foot, ankle and lower-limb conditions, from MSK and sports issues to routine care
• Carry out biomechanical and gait assessments, and prescribe, fit and review orthoses
• Work with our physiotherapists on shared cases
• Help the service grow through patient education and local outreach

Essential

• BSc (Hons) Podiatry or equivalent qualification
• Current HCPC registration
• At least two years' post-qualification experience in the NHS or private practice
• A sound understanding of lower-limb biomechanics and orthotic therapy
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-centred approach
• Professional indemnity insurance, or eligibility to obtain appropriate cover
• The right to work in the UK and a satisfactory enhanced DBS check

Desirable

• MSK or sports podiatry experience
• Casting or scanning for custom orthoses
• Experience working alongside physiotherapists or in a multidisciplinary team
• An interest in service development, business growth or community outreach
