Location: Weybridge, Surrey

Salary: Up to £30,000 basic depending on experience

OTE: £65,000

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Lister / Valuer to join a young, ambitious and rapidly growing estate agency operating across Weybridge and the wider Elmbridge area.

This is not a role for somebody who wants to sit back and wait for valuation leads to arrive.

We are looking for a genuinely high-energy, proactive and commercially driven estate agent who enjoys creating opportunities, getting in front of homeowners and winning business.

You'll need to love prospecting. You'll be comfortable picking up the phone, following up historic valuations, developing relationships, working your local market and finding opportunities to bring new properties onto the market.

Ultimately, your job is to win instructions and build market share.

The Role

You will take responsibility for generating and converting valuation opportunities across Weybridge and the surrounding Elmbridge market.

Carrying out residential sales valuations and market appraisals

Winning new instructions and converting valuations into listings

Proactively prospecting for new business

Developing relationships with prospective vendors

Following up previous valuations and market appraisal opportunities

Identifying potential sellers and creating new opportunities within the local market

Maintaining regular contact with your pipeline of prospective vendors

Advising homeowners on pricing, marketing strategy and current market conditions

Working with the wider sales team to ensure new instructions are launched effectively

Building your personal profile and the company's presence within the local area

Networking and developing relationships within the Weybridge and Elmbridge community

Monitoring competitor activity, new instructions, price reductions and market trends

Working towards ambitious listing, instruction and revenue targets

About You

Personality and attitude are going to be incredibly important for this appointment.

We are looking for somebody with energy, confidence, enthusiasm and genuine hunger for winning business.

You'll probably be the person who gets a buzz from securing an instruction that somebody else was chasing.

Previous residential estate agency experience

Proven experience carrying out valuations and winning instructions

A strong understanding of the Weybridge, Elmbridge or surrounding Surrey property market

Excellent prospecting and business generation skills

The confidence to approach potential vendors and create opportunities

Strong negotiation and closing skills

A competitive and target-driven approach

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Strong knowledge of residential property values and market conditions

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle

Above all, we're looking for somebody who is high energy, proactive and relentless about generating business.

If you need to be handed every valuation appointment, this probably isn't the right position.

The Package

Basic salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience

OTE: £65,000
