We're looking for a proactive Deputy to support the Team Leader with day-to-day operation of a busy production environmentfor a 1 year contract covering maternity leave.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in production who is looking to upskill themselves & take the first steps in managing staff.

The Role: -

You will assist with the smooth running of the department, helping to maintain quality, efficiency, and workplace standards while also carrying out hands-on production duties.

Key responsibilities include: -

• Supporting daily operations and workflow.
• Conducting WIP checks and assisting with stock counts.
• Reviewing quality control documentation.
• Monitoring consumables and reporting shortages.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement activities.
• Providing supervisory cover during absences.
• Overseeing overtime activities when required.

What We're Looking For: -

• Experience within a production or factory environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to priorities workloads and work independently.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards is advantageous.

Working hours: -

Rotating shifts, Monday-Friday: -

• 6:00am 2:00pm
• 2:00pm 10:00pm
