Corporate Fundraiser
Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service
£31,254 to £38,772 per annum
37.5 hours per week
Are you a confident relationship builder with a passion for fundraising and business development? Do you enjoy creating new opportunities, winning corporate support and building partnerships that make a real difference?
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service is looking for a proactive and ambitious Corporate Fundraiser to grow our corporate partnerships, generate vital income and raise awareness of our work supporting babies, children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to develop new corporate relationships while nurturing and growing our existing partnerships. You will identify prospective business supporters, secure sponsorships and charity partnerships, and inspire organisations to support our work through fundraising, volunteering and employee engagement.
You will also manage a portfolio of existing corporate partners, ensuring they feel valued, understand the impact of their support and are motivated to continue their relationship with the charity.
Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and the wider organisation, you will help deliver sustainable income growth and build lasting relationships with businesses in our community.
About you
You will be a confident communicator and natural networker, with the ability to engage business leaders, develop compelling proposals and build strong relationships. You will be organised, motivated by targets and comfortable balancing new business development with excellent supporter stewardship.
• Experience of working in a target-driven environment and managing relationships successfully.
• Excellent communication, presentation, networking and organisational skills.
• The ability to identify opportunities, influence decision-makers and develop compelling fundraising proposals and reports.
• Confidence working independently, managing competing priorities and contributing to a team.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM databases.
Previous experience in a similar fundraising role, with a track record of achieving income targets, would be an advantage. Experience of event management and sales and digital fundraising tools would also be beneficial.
Most importantly, you will share our commitment to making a positive difference to babies, children and young people and be able to demonstrate our values: Determined, Empowering, Valuing Others, Integrity, Nurture and Empathy.
Why join Alexander Devine?
At Alexander Devine, every successful partnership helps us provide specialist care and support to those who need us. You will have the opportunity to use your fundraising and relationship-building skills to create meaningful connections with local businesses and make a lasting difference.
If you are enthusiastic, driven and ready to help grow our corporate fundraising income, we would love to hear from you.
