Personal Injury Solicitor

We are working with a reputable local law firm based in Derry for a solicitor to join their Personal Injury team.

The Role

The successful candidate will join an established Plaintiff Litigation team in Derry, advising individuals on a broad range of personal injury and medical negligence claims, from straightforward accident cases through to complex and life-changing injuries.

The role will involve managing claims arising from road traffic accidents, workplace accidents, public liability incidents and clinical negligence, including misdiagnosis, surgical errors and serious medical injuries. The successful candidate will investigate liability, obtain medical evidence, liaise with experts and counsel, draft pleadings, negotiate settlements and manage litigation through to resolution.

Essential Criteria

• Qualified solicitor;
• Personal injury background (plaintiff or defence);
• Interpersonal skills;
• Strong work ethic;
• Ability to meet demanding caseload;
• Strong communication skills;
• Team player;
• Technically excellent.
