People Partner

We’re looking for a people professional to provide strategic guidance, challenge thinking, and act as a critical friend for leaders within our charity.

Working with colleagues in areas such as retail, clinical, and support teams, you’ll be helping our leaders and managers to drive performance, ensure positive employee experiences, and navigate complex people matters.

Working as part of Weldmar’s People Services team, you will lead and support a range of projects and initiatives, influencing decisions on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, and driving effective people strategies and operational tasks.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Partnering and strategic advice: Act as the dedicated People Partner for a defined business area, delivering strategic guidance, challenge, and coaching to leaders to strengthen leadership effectiveness and drive organisational priorities.
• Talent and recruitment: Drive comprehensive recruitment strategies alongside talent management, succession planning, and employee development activities to attract, retain, and grow high-quality talent.
• Data driven people solutions: Utilise data and insights to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Best practice and compliance: Champion best-practice people management, whilst ensuring strict adherence to employment legislation and internal policies.

In addition to these core focus areas, you will lead and deliver strategic HR change projects. You will also play a key role in processing payroll and pension administration in partnership with our third-party provider, and provide direct line management to the Learning and Development Associate and Advisor.
