Our experienced Energy Consultants work as dedicated account managers, developing strategies tailored to each client’s operations and business goals.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site New Business Development Executive role based in Blackpool, focused on opening conversations, qualifying leads and booking appointments for our Energy Consultants.

You will contact prospective business customers and work with our partners to identify new opportunities. You will establish contact with decision-makers, gather information about energy requirements and contract renewal dates, and arrange qualified appointments for the consultancy team.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective business customers.
• Contact and work with partners to generate referrals and opportunities.
• Identify key decision-makers and understand their energy requirements.
• Gather and record contract renewal dates and relevant customer information.
• Qualify leads and book appointments for Energy Consultants.
• Follow up prospects and maintain an organised pipeline.
• Keep accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM.
• Work towards agreed calling, qualified lead and appointment targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in B2B telesales, lead generation or appointment setting.
• A confident, professional telephone manner and strong listening skills.
• Ability to engage decision-makers and build rapport.
• A self-motivated, resilient and target-driven approach.
• Good organisation, follow-up and time-management skills.
• Confidence using CRM systems and recording accurate information.
• Ability to work closely with partners and the consultancy team.
• Energy industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
