Trainee Solicitor

We’re looking for our next Trainee Solicitor to join our Southport office, and this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in property and business law with real responsibility from day one. You’ll work closely with our experienced lawyers on a broad mix of commercial property and secured lending work, including acquisitions, disposals, leasehold transactions, development finance and bridging loans, while seeing how a busy, growing practice runs from the inside.

Previous experience in a property role (as a paralegal, legal assistant or conveyancer) is essential, and we’d love to hear from you if you’re organised, commercially minded and keen to learn.

This is a two-year training contract. You’ll need a law degree or equivalent and to have completed the LPC (if qualifying under the SRA’s transitional arrangements) or passed SQE1 or be due to sit it shortly. The two years will count as qualifying work experience.

VC LAW was founded in 2018 and has grown into a multi-office firm across Liverpool, Southport and Formby, with a reputation for practical advice and getting deals done.
