About The Role

This full-time, permanent General Operative role is based in Daventry, Northamptonshire, working 45 hours per week for Recruitment Helpline Ltd. The schedule runs Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 17:15, and Fridays, 07:00 to 13:00, with a rate of £14.00 per hour. Duties suit someone with practical workshop experience, ideally including MIG welding, alongside general operative tasks. Job Purpose

General metal working duties. May include operating of plant equipment but only if authorised to do so. Duties could include any of the following;

• Materials handling
• Deburring
• Assembling components
• Preserving
• Drilling
• Sawing
• Semi-automatic brazing of assemblies
• Pressure Testing components both hydrostatic and air under water
• Spot Welding
• Setting and Operating Part Numbering Machine
• Setting and Operating Tapping Machine
• Basic operation of pressbrakes
• Operating robotic welders

Candidate requirements

Must be dexterous and have a willingness to work in different areas of the business.

Desirable – experience in Robot Weld/ Machine

• Ability to attend work regularly and punctually
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Must be self-motivated
• Methodical and precise
• MUST already have the Right to work in the UK
