Scaffolding Trainer/Assessor (Qualified CISRS Trainer)

Overview

• Help us build a new CISRS training centre in Exeter from day one, and lead the training that brings the next generation into
• scaffolding. Permanent, directly employed, with a relocation package tailored to you. Salary £43,000 – £53,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Essential Criteria

• Registered CISRS trainer with recent course delivery
• Teaching qualification (Award in Education and Training or equivalent)
• Current CISRS card and the experience CISRS requires for your courses
• Confident teaching in a classroom and practical setting
• Good IT skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
• Full, clean UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK. We cannot offer visa sponsorship

Desirable

• CISRS Advanced card
• Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work
• Experience of shaping a training centre

Duties

• Deliver CISRS courses, starting with Part 1 Scaffolder, COTS, Scaffolding Awareness and Basic Inspection
• Coach, assess and motivate learners, adapting delivery to their needs
• Help set up the centre: course calendar, materials, records and quality systems
• Keep accurate learner records to CISRS and PVF standards
• Lead the training team as the centre grows
