Self-Employed Counsellors in the North East: Join Our Panel For A Government Contract

Private Therapy Clinic is looking for counsellors for a public-sector counselling contract covering the North East of England. We're building a panel of independent, self-employed counsellors to name in our tender, and we need to move quickly.

Location Focus: Teesside & County Durham South (Middlesbrough, Stockton, Hartlepool, Darlington), Northumberland (Morpeth, Ashington, Blyth, Hexham, Alnwick) and Tyne & Wear.

What's involved at this stage

Nothing but your permission. We'll include your name and practice address in proposed panel. Being on the panel doesn't commit you to anything.

We'll contact you to ask whether you'd like to take referrals at a later date. If you do, you could expect a regular flow of work, which is ideal for filling gaps in your diary or non-peak hours. You stay independent and work from your own premises.

Rate: set at £40–£50 per session depending on the practitioner's number of years of post-qualification experience, preferably in person.

We're looking for

• Counsellors or psychotherapists registered with BACP, UKCP or NCPS

• Your own practice premises in the North East (Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Teesside, Northumberland and surrounding areas), however, if space is an issue, we can arrange and provide consultation rooms for you to practice from.

• Your own professional indemnity insurance
