Salary: From £13.25 enhanced rates of pay for nights, weekends and public holidays.

The Role

We are currently seeking

Healthcare Assistant in Leonard Stanley/ Frampton on Serven, Stroud Gloucester to support individuals with diverse needs including elderly care, physical disabilities, and long-term health conditions within residential care settings

Shifts Include

Full and Part-time hours

Day or night shifts

12-hour or flexible rotas

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Support with mobility and use of specialist equipment (e.g. hoists, wheelchairs)
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns
• Administer or prompt medication
• Promote independence and social engagement
• Maintain accurate daily records
• Follow safeguarding and health & safety protocols

Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence (Advised but not required)
• A minimum of 6 months’ paid care experience
• Able to attend 5 days of in-person induction training (Cheltenham, Salisbury, or Chippenham)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate, empathetic, and reliable
• Right to work in the UK (we do not provide visa sponsorship)
