Van Driver – Furniture Deliveries | Immediate Start

£13.00 per hour | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

Driver Hire Edinburgh West are looking for an experienced

Van Driver to join a furniture delivery operation, delivering flat-pack furniture directly to customers’ homes.

Working alongside a second driver, you’ll help ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and with excellent customer service. This is a physically active role suited to someone who enjoys being on the road and working as part of a team.

The Role

• Drive a company van to deliver furniture to residential addresses.
• Work alongside a second driver to complete daily deliveries.
• Load, unload and carry furniture into customers’ homes.
• Handle items carefully and ensure deliveries are completed safely.
• Provide a friendly and professional service to customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain the van in a clean, roadworthy condition.
• Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Previous van driving or delivery experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of navigation systems and confidence travelling to different addresses.
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
• A professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.

Working Hours

There Are Two Available Working Patterns

• Sunday to Wednesday
• Wednesday to Saturday

Working hours will be confirmed at interview.

Please note that a one-hour unpaid lunch break is provided each working day.

Pay & Opportunity

• £13.00 per hour.
