Associate Managing Director

We’re Hiring: Associate Managing Director, University Partnerships

Hybrid – St Albans, with regular travel to university campuses

Are you commercially driven, a natural relationship builder and someone who thrives on making things happen?

At Higher Ed Partners (HEP), we partner with universities to grow their online and blended education offering. We’re looking for a proactive, commercially minded Associate Managing Director to work closely with our Managing Director, strengthen university partnerships, unlock new business opportunities and drive growth.

The role

• Build strong relationships with university partners and act as a key day-to-day point of contact.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, develop new programmes and support new business.
• Drive commercial initiatives forward, coordinating internal teams to deliver against agreed priorities.
• Monitor pipeline, performance and revenue opportunities, ensuring actions translate into results.
• Work at pace, manage competing priorities and proactively resolve challenges.

Key requirements

• Proven experience in commercial account management, business development or strategic partnerships.
• A track record of growing accounts, developing opportunities or delivering commercial results.
• Confidence building relationships with external partners and senior stakeholders.
• Strong project coordination, organisation and follow-through, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Commercial acumen, analytical skills and the ability to turn plans into action.
• Experience in higher education or a complex partnership environment is advantageous, but not essential.
