Job Description

  • GibbsCAM 3, 4 & 5 axis Programming inc 3d modelling components.
  • Ensure all tooling, fixturing, T-drawings and any other dependency is available to complete manufacture.
  • Planning/Routing customer orders to the machine shop on Progress Plus (Turning/Milling/Grinding/Thread Rolling etc.)
  • Support machinists as required.
  • Review customer requirements including material and condition plus surface treatment.
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers as required.

Hourly rate dependant on experience.

  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Drawing reading and interpretation abilities.
  • An approachable and courteous manner with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
  • A desire to learn on-the-job.
  • Willing to be flexible with hours and duties.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record.

Desirable (Training to be provided)

  • Knowledge of 5 axis machining.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM (Gibbs Cam Preferred)
  • Familiarity with drawing and specification requirements.
