Premises Assistant

We are seeking a Premises Assistant to join our team at Woodmansterne Primary School and Nursery, part of Bourne Education Trust.
As a Premises Assistant, in support of the Senior Leadership Team, be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the school premises. Effectively communicating premises and site management issues, providing effective direction to contractors, whilst supporting the maintenance of the building, machinery, and plant within the directed budget.

Job title: Premises Assistant
Location: Banstead, Surrey
Contract: Full time, permanent. 40 hrs per week, 52 weeks per year (29 days annual leave)
Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00 - 18:00 with an unpaid 1 hour break
Salary: Surrey pay scale 5. Actual salary £31,717
Responsible to: Headteacher
Key Responsibilities Include
- Maintain a programme of site testing and inspections to ensure statutory compliance under the guidance of the School Business Leader
- Identify issues quickly by carrying out regular inspections of all indoor and outdoor areas, providing written reports/action plans as required
- Support an effective out of hours emergency system in place.
