As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll do just that by providing supervision and inspiring leadership to our dedicated Care Assistants, alongside our Registered Nurses ensuring the highest level of care and support is provided to our residents.

What you will do in this Splendid role
As a Senior Care Assistant, every day is about making a real difference in the lives of our residents. You’ll get to:
- Support Registered Nurses with administering medication, assessments, care plans and care reviews
- Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, ensuring that new needs are met and care plans amended, communicating updates to the Registered Nurse
- Support the Care Assistants with any help and support they may need
- Support residents with daily routines such as washing, dressing, and mealtimes
- Promote resident dignity which is person cantered and respects individual choices
- Share moments of laughter, conversation, and companionship
- Encourage residents to take part in activities and enjoy their hobbies
- Provide comfort and reassurance when residents need a little extra care
- Work as part of a close-knit team to make every day safe, joyful, and fulfilling
What makes you Splendid
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Senior Care Assistant with previous Health & Social experience ideally in an adult social care environment.
