You’ll be supporting a group of independent adults who live in their own self‑contained apartments, while also being part of a warm, social and supportive environment.

This is a lively, community‑focused service where people enjoy spending time together — whether that’s cooking meals, watching TV, heading out for food, or planning trips to the seaside and beyond. Everyone has their own goals too, from studying and building independence to simply enjoying life and strong relationships.

This role is hands‑on, fast‑paced and incredibly rewarding. You’ll support people with day‑to‑day routines, encourage independence, and provide emotional reassurance when it’s needed most. At times, you may be supporting people during challenging moments, so being calm, patient and resilient is key.

You’ll be part of an established, knowledgeable team who are passionate about what they do. The focus here is simple: fun, choice, inclusion and helping people live life on their terms.

A full UK driving licence is highly desirable as getting out and about is a big part of life here.

We hire for values, not just experience — so whether you’ve worked in care before or not, we want to hear from you.

You’ll Be Someone Who Is

  • Caring, positive and people‑focused
  • Patient, resilient and calm
  • Honest, reliable and hardworking
  • A great team player who uses initiative

Here at Community Integrated Care, we aim to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive employer, where all colleagues feel they belong. We want to be an organisation that is truly fair and equal to all - where individual diversity is valued, unique characteristics celebrated, and everyone feels able to bring their true selves to work.

By encouraging and embracing a range of diverse backgrounds, experiences, capabilities and viewpoints, we will build a stronger, richer, more vibrant workforce, which reflects the people we support, and the communities in which we work. It helps us make better decisions, bring fresh ideas and become a true provider and employer of choice.

We have a really clear plan to achieve this called A Place I Belong. This publicly sets out the promises we’ve made to achieving this vision and how we will hold ourselves to account to getting there. You can read more about this by clicking here.
