Outpatient Booking Co-ordinator

An Opportunity Has Arisen To Join The Outpatient Department At Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. We Have a Band 4 Coordinator Posts As Follows

21 hours per week Hours are Monday 1230-1700,Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 0830-1230, Friday 1230-1700

The successful applicant will be able to work on their own initiative as well as a team player, be self-motivated and able to prioritise conflicting demands over the day treatment and outpatient departments within the Anchor Unit. The post holder would have to be in regular contact with staff across Anchor unit day treatment areas.

They must have the ability to deal with service users and colleagues in a confident, caring, and empathetic manner both over the phone and in person.

They should be well organised and methodical with excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills to cope with the demands of the Oncology/Haematology service.

Additional Information For Candidates

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
