HGV Class 1 Driver

About The Role

Rapier Employment seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver in Knottingley for long-term trunking work to RDC sites. Duties include vehicle checks and deliveries, with day starts between 03:00-04:00 or 10:00-12:00, and night shifts beginning 20:00-23:00. Pay ranges from £18.52 to £29.49 hourly, with overtime after eight hours at identical weekday and weekend rates. Full time, part time and flexible contracts suit three to five shifts weekly, including weekends. Applicants need a C+E licence held six months, Digital Tachograph Card plus CPC, no DR10, CD10 or IN10 codes, and a maximum six points. A positive approach is essential.

£18.52 per hour – £29.49 per hour.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Ferrybridge. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.

Responsibilities Will Include

• Trunking to RDCS
• Vehicle checks
• Shift patterns to cover weekend working can work with 3 – 5 shifts covering weekend.

Days

• Days: £18.52 per hour - £27.78 over time after 8 hours
• Same pay rates Mon - Sun
• Start times 03:00 -04:00 / 10:00 – 12:00

Nights

• Nights: £19.66 per hour - £29.49 overtime after 8 hours
• Same pay rates Mon - Sun
• Start times 20:00 – 23:00

The ideal candidate.

• Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 6 months
• “Can do” attitude
• No DR10’s No CD10’s No IN10’s - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
