Security Patrol Officer

We are looking for a professional, reliable and customer-focused Security Officer to join our Security Team. You will support the delivery of security services within a high-profile corporate environment.

You will play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for colleagues, visitors and contractors while delivering excellent customer service.

Working hours and shift patterns will be based on a rolling day and night rota and may include a variety of shifts depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect people, property and assets.
• Carry out security duties, patrols and scheduled checks.
• Provide a professional and welcoming security presence.
• Identify and report security concerns, hazards or suspicious activity.
• Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies.
• Follow site Assignment Instructions and Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete accurate notebook entries and incident reports.
• Use site security systems and technology effectively.
• Complete all required site and competency training.

What We Are Looking For

• Professional, reliable and approachable.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Awareness of current geopolitical events, activist activity and emerging security threats, with the ability to recognise how these may impact a corporate environment.
• Calm and confident when dealing with incidents.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and willing to work shifts as part of a rolling rota.
• Able to follow procedures and use initiative when required.
• Previous security experience is preferred.
• A valid SIA licence is required.
