City: Christchurch, England
Contract type: Full time

About MASS Concrete

We design and manufacture offsite Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) and precast concrete for architects, designers, contractors and brands, from façade panels and flooring to bespoke feature elements and furniture. Everything is made in our own factory in Dorset, from design and engineering through to installation. Sustainability is part of how we work: our mixes use recycled aggregates such as crushed mirror glass, local shingle and industrial by-products.

The role

You will own MASS Concrete's revenue: winning new specifications, growing key accounts and turning enquiries into profitable orders the factory can deliver. You will lead a team of three, including in-house marketing, and work closely with the Commercial Director, Operations Director and in-house engineer. This is a senior, hands-on role, in front of architects and main contractors and shaping projects from concept to installation.

What you'll do

  • Set and deliver the annual sales plan, revenue and margin targets
  • Build long-term relationships with architects, interior designers, main contractors and brand clients to secure early specification
  • Lead on major bids, tenders and commercial negotiations
  • Lead, coach and develop the team, with clear individual targets and KPIs
  • Own the multi-channel marketing plan and manage our external SEO and AI visibility agency
  • Represent MASS Concrete at trade shows, awards and industry events
  • Own the CRM, forecasting and monthly sales and marketing reporting to the Board
  • Align sales commitments with factory capacity and lead times, and support a smooth handover from sale to site

About you

  • At least 5 years in B2B sales within construction, building products, architectural products or offsite manufacturing
  • Proven experience leading a sales team
  • A track record of winning specification through architects, designers and main contractors
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, negotiation and margin management on bespoke projects
  • Confident CRM user
  • Excellent presentation, written and relationship-building skills
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Desirable: knowledge of GRC, precast or architectural concrete; understanding of the RIBA Plan of Work and tendering; experience overseeing digital marketing, SEO and content; an interest in sustainable materials; an existing network in UK architecture, interiors and fit-out.

If you meet most of the essential criteria but not every one, we'd still like to hear from you.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and workplace pension
  • The chance to shape the commercial direction of an innovative, design-led manufacturer
  • High-profile architectural and design projects across the UK

How to apply

  • Send your CV and a short covering note to by 23rd October 2026. We review applications as they arrive and may close the vacancy early if we find the right person. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. MASS Concrete is an equal opportunities employer.
